Fitness enquiries arrive in two places: Instagram and WhatsApp. How each channel is automated, what each one requires, and how the two connect.
For most fitness coaches, Instagram is where interest turns into a conversation: a reel lands, someone comments, someone DMs "how much?" at 11pm. Instagram DM automation makes sure every one of those messages gets a prompt, accurate answer in your words — and, on the qualifying products, a conversation that works out who's ready.
The Instagram products step up in capability:
Instagram access is connected through Meta's official process. You keep ownership, and you never share a password.
A comment under a transformation reel is often your highest-intent moment. Comment → DM turns it into a private conversation straight away:
Your own comments never trigger it. Comment → DM is included at no extra cost on Basic, Pro, Business, Fusion and Fusion Max — it's never sold as an add-on. It isn't part of WhatsApp Personal Assistant, which has no Instagram side.
On the qualifying Instagram products, the agent asks permission once, then works through your questions one at a time in your order. Answers are locked once given. Messy or out-of-order replies are understood. Your booking link goes out once, only after the lead qualifies, and a hot lead alert reaches your email.
The full mechanics are in How it works → Lead qualification.
Leads who go quiet get a configured follow-up matched to where the conversation stopped. Pro and Fusion use template follow-ups you approve in advance. Business and Fusion Max write each follow-up fresh for that lead. Every follow-up cancels the moment the lead replies, books or is handed to you, and none is scheduled while the lead is still writing. Follow-ups stay within Instagram's own messaging rules.
Some coaches' enquiries land on WhatsApp — from a link in bio, an ad, a website or word of mouth. The WhatsApp Personal Assistant brings the same qualification quality there:
Voice notes aren't part of WhatsApp Personal Assistant, and neither are AI-written follow-ups. Both are available on WhatsApp through Fusion Max.
This is the requirement coaches most often overlook, so it's settled before anything is bought. WhatsApp automation runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform, not the normal WhatsApp app. That means:
WhatsApp lets a business reply freely for 24 hours after a person's last message. Outside that window, messaging is limited by WhatsApp's own rules, and some messages need pre-approved templates. This shapes follow-up timing on every WhatsApp product, and it's a platform rule no provider can switch off.
Plenty of coaching funnels start on Instagram and finish on WhatsApp. If those two channels aren't connected, the lead starts over on the second one and repeats everything. Fusion and Fusion Max connect them.
On Instagram
i want to build muscle, been training 2 years on my own
Great base to work from. Easiest to continue on WhatsApp — tap here and we'll pick up where we left off.
On WhatsApp — the lead is recognised, and answered questions aren't asked again
Hi again! You mentioned muscle gain and two years of training. When were you hoping to start?
Fusion is Instagram Pro and WhatsApp Personal Assistant linked as one system. Fusion Max is the Business-level Instagram agent linked with WhatsApp Personal Assistant, with voice notes and AI-written follow-ups on both channels. A lead who half-qualifies on Instagram is recognised on WhatsApp, and questions they already answered aren't asked again. Someone who messages WhatsApp directly is qualified normally from the start. Each channel runs its own follow-ups.
One product, two capability levels: Fusion and Fusion Max. Fusion costs less than buying the Instagram and WhatsApp products separately — and, unlike two separate products, it's actually connected.

Yes. Access is granted through Meta's official permission process as a scoped credential. It isn't a password, it can't log in as you, and you can revoke it at any time from your own settings.
No. Everything starts from the lead: a DM, a comment or a WhatsApp message. There is no cold outreach on any product.
No. The system runs on a dedicated business number on the WhatsApp Business Platform, and chat history from another number doesn't carry over.
The verified scope is keyword comments on your posts and reels. Story replies and ad comments aren't part of the published capability.
English by default. If your audience writes differently — for example in Hinglish — language behaviour can be discussed and configured during setup. We don't claim broad multilingual support.
Tell me where your enquiries actually arrive, and I'll recommend the product that fits — including your WhatsApp number situation.
